My wife and I are fortunate indeed to have engaged Jerris Construction, Inc. as the general contractor for our major home remodel at Marrakesh Country Club. We have had several personal experiences, over the years, with contractors. Also, as a Licensed Landscape Architect for more than 40 years I have worked with hundreds of contractors from every conceivable trade. Craig Jahries, as a person as well as a contractor, is one of the finest individuals that I have had the pleasure to work with. His personal involvement and genuine interest in every step of the process, from conceptual design through completion, was invaluable. Craig made the whole experience of tearing a house down to the studs, moving most of the interior walls and replacing virtually everything in the house, as efficient and painless as possible.

I guess if I were to enumerate those qualities that set Craig apart they would be:

We are writing to recommend Jerris Construction, Inc. In January 2018 we hired Jerris Construction, Inc. to remodel our William Krisel designed Mid Century Modern home. The owner of Jerris Construction, Inc., Craig Jahries, was enthusiastic and more than willing to work with us on remodeling the house to an updated Mid Century Modern. He provided a thorough estimate of the work to be accomplished. Throughout the process, Craig listened and came up with suggestions that would help us stay within our budget but still give us the Mid Century Modern look. We were given the freedom to choose our finishes from any supplier. Craig was clear in pointing out items that would cost more than the amount agreed upon in the contract, giving us the option of going ahead with those items or opting for something within the budgeted amount.

The major components of our initial remodel included installation of porcelain tile flooring throughout the house and a total renovation of the kitchen and guest bathroom. Work began the last week of January and workers were at the house nearly every day for three months, sometimes even on Saturdays. The attention to detail was very good. Whenever there was an issue Craig or Duane, the site supervisor, would be quick with a resolution. Everything was professionally installed and looks great.

Pleased with the work, we decided to have Jerris Construction, Inc. continue on and remodel the master suite once the initial project was completed. The cost did not exceed what was quoted and agreed upon. The renovated master suite is simply beautiful. Stunning describes the master bathroom.

We lived in the home throughout the entire remodeling process. This of course created additional challenges for Jerris Construction, Inc. Communication was good and follow-up to messages was always prompt. The workers were respectful of our being on-site and were easy to get along with.

We will hire Jerris Construction, Inc. for any future projects.
